This situation somehow dissolved by itself at the time as I didn’t manage to fix it then.) This recovery now unfortunately did not help either.ĩ. In a recovery mode I recovered my computer to an earlier copy of the system from Time machine, from about 1 month ago (that was the last backup I had, at that time ethernet was working, however sometime in July for several days I had also connection issues - it only worked for some minutes or sometimes maybe half an hour after starting the computer and then stopped and I had to reboot the computer to have internet working again. Did Etrecheck but it only showed issues with Adobe Reader Updater Helper not loading.Ĩ. Later I did it again and this time it didn’t help at all any more.Ħ. Reset PRAM/NVRAM - helped for a few seconds, after startup was ethernet working but in a moment showed Cable Unplugged again. Change settings in Network for "Configure IPv4" from DHCP to Manually - it helped for a second or two after reboot - the Ethernet showed 'connected' but in a second it turned back to cable unplugged.ģ. After Reboot go to System Preferences > Network and add all network interfacesĭid not help, even ethernet disappeared from the networks list to be added, so I put back the deleted files.Ģ. In System Preferences>Network it says “Status: Cable Unplugged”, while I am now connected to the net through the same cable but from another computer, so it is not an issue with the network. However, the Free Version does what it claims it does.

I wanted to give 5 stars when I first downloaded it, but Im afraid the Full Version isn’t working properly. I also tried reaching out to the creator on his website through the contact link, but the messaging/email section doesnt work when you click send. It still appears as if I have the 'Free Version' instead of the 'Full Version.’ I also restarted my computer after trying to restore and nothing changes. I then try to 'Restore Purchase' but nothing happens. When I click it, the 'preferences menu' opens up. It suggests that I look at the Full Version. It worked for a bit and when I closed out of the app to refresh something, it does not appear as if I made the purchase. I recently downloaded the Ethernet Status App and purchased the Full Version for $1.99.
